On Promoting Senior Wellness, Spirituality of Aging and End of Life Accompaniment
We are very proud of the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence (TDPCR) team for its advancement of its pilot project! Integrating an occupational therapist in the interdisciplinary accompaniment offered to the persons and families that are welcomed in its facilities will certainly benefit all! Our liaison with the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ) and Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ) continues.
We are currently investing in organizing a small panel of palliative care experts/specialists, with complementary perspectives and lived experience. Our outreach to the Centre dominicain d’éthique et de vie spirituelle and to the St. Raphael Palliative Care Home and Day Centre may well soon bear fruit! Stay posted!
Our membership in the One Voice Coalition had us partake in its November 21stmeeting and subsequently contribute all the necessary information for the directory it is putting together. Harmonized organizational profiles will further ease getting to know one another, raising awareness about the wealth and diversity of members represented!
