The call to come forward and share your interest and / or your nomination(s) for the 2025-2027 term of the ESCC’s Board of Directors is now open. Dare contribute to the short and long-term growth and success of the ESCC!
We are seeking 3 to 6 community leaders who are willing to stand for election.We thank you in advance for forwarding the name of persons you believe could make a positive contribution to the ESCC’s Board, i.e. partaking in governance, accountability, and outreach while enabling organizational agility, learning, and resilience and supporting ever evolving programs, pilot projects, advocacy, and activities built with and for its target groups.
Previous board experience and knowledge of the community are valuable assets. Candidates with diverse and complementary professional / occupational backgrounds are sought. We aim to ensure representation of cultural communities / visible minorities, as well as newcomers to Quebec, across all age groups (notably young adults and seniors).
The Council’s Board Succession & Nominations Committee and process are renewed, onboarding tools and mentorship / accompaniment are being developed collaboratively with current Board members and benchmarking against good practices.
The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, May 1, 2025.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17, 2025. The election of Board members will take place at the AGM, as usual.
