We are pleased to present the Lectio Divina Compendium 2026, themed “Healed by His Wounds”, a prayerful resource designed to guide the faithful into a deeper encounter with the Word of God through the ancient practice of Lectio Divina.
In this spirit, Lectio Divina would like to invite your parish to host a free, one-hour Lectio Divina workshop in your church or parish setting. This workshop is intended to gently and clearly introduce parishioners to how to practice Lectio Divina, helping them grow in intimacy with God through Sacred Scripture. Participants will also discover the rich history of Lectio Divina, an exercise deeply rooted in the life of the Catholic Church and practiced for centuries by monks, saints, and faithful lay people alike.
The workshop is suitable for all—those new to Scripture as well as those seeking to deepen their prayer life—and requires no prior experience. It offers a practical, pastoral approach that parishioners can easily integrate into their personal and communal prayer.
The Lectio Divina Compendium 2026 will be available for purchase at $25, providing ongoing guidance throughout the year and supporting the faithful in living the theme “Healed by His Wounds” in daily prayer and reflection.
